Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

Method
 

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 5–6 minutes.
  3. Flip chicken and cook another 5–6 minutes until fully cooked, then remove.
  4. Reduce heat and cook garlic in butter for 30 seconds.
  5. Add chicken broth and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to pan and cook 2 minutes while spooning sauce over it.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
