Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper evenly.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Place the chicken in the pan and cook for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Reduce heat and add butter and minced garlic, spooning the butter over the chicken for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Add lemon juice and cook for another 1–2 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Remove from heat and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
