Method
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and blanch green beans for 3–4 minutes until bright green. Transfer immediately to ice water to stop cooking.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat until melted.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30–45 seconds until fragrant.
- Drain green beans and add to skillet. Cook for 4–5 minutes, tossing until heated through.
- Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Toss and serve warm.
